For groundcrew there are numerous permutations of clothing that will suit, the easiest in terms of acquisition of items is shown in the photos below.
In both photos, the airmen are wearing a standard issue wool pullover, these were used by the Bundesluftwaffe and are still available to buy from dealers.
The trousers are the service trousers or Fliegerhose. The man on the left is wearing ankle boots with gaiters, while the man on the right is wearing the so called jackboots.
Headgear is the side cap. Both men are undoubtedly wearing a ???????????



Schirmütze- Other ranks caps have coloured piping(Waffenfarbe) denoting arm of service, in this case flak.
